Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S · とある科学の超電磁砲S · Toaru Kagaku no Railgun 2nd Season · A Certain Scientific Railgun 2nd Season · เรลกัน แฟ้มลับคดีวิทยาศาสตร์ ภาค 2 · Некий научный Рейлган 2
The second season of Toaru Kagaku no Railgun. Something sinister is going on in Academy City. The shadows are filled with whispers of an organization cloning super-powered students known as espers. High-ranking master of electricity, Mikoto Misaka, laughs off these stories until she comes face to face with a copy of herself. After learning that these clones - her sisters - are being systematically murdered in a series of experiments designed to turn a sadistic killer into the strongest esper in history, Misaka vows to save her copies and destroy the organization responsible for the project. As Misaka prepares to face off against the organization’s power-hungry esper, she discovers that she wasn’t the only victim of the scientific forces conspiring within the city - and that’s something Misaka and the girls of Judgement simply won’t stand for. When asked by the Dorm Supervisor to explain her absences, Mikoto bluffs that she was having study sessions with her friends. As Ruiko arranges a get together so she can hear who Mikoto was making cookies for the other day, Kuroko comes across Minori again before being dragged along by Mitsuko to a pet shop. Meanwhile, Mikoto visits Heaven Canceller to hear about the status of the Sisters, learning they are being reconfigured so they may live longer than their originally intended two year lifespan. Whilst arriving at the family restaurant to meet up with Kuroko, Mikoto comes across Shizuri and Frenda, leading to an awkward argument between Kuroko and Frenda over their respective partners. But when Kuroko and Frenda starts revealing perverted facts about theirs partners, both Mikoto and Shizuri angrily punish them. Later, Mikoto, Kuroko, Kazari and Ruiko have a nabe party, with Erii joining them. As Mikoto and Kuroko heads home before curfew, Kuroko is glad to see Mikoto is back to normal.
